What should I check on before I choose a company?

  1. Check the reputation, dependability, and responsibility of the firm.
  2. Ask the company for references.
  3. Find out if the company provides liability and compensation insurance to protect you.
  4. Ask for your warranty in writing.
  5. Look for the quality, brand, grade, weight, color and/or specifications in your estimate.
  6. READ THE WARRANTY: a warranty is what you are left with after the job is completed. Make sure it is valid. The warranty is only as good as who gives it.
    Ask:
  • What is the duration of the warranty?
  • Who will make good on the warranty? It should include the name and address of the party offering it.
